I had often wondered if there was going to turn out to be a connection with breastfeeding and warlike behaviors -- interesting to read about the tribe creating warriors  starting at the very beginning.    I'm sure they did more than just prevent these babies from breastfeeding, from they kind of affection they showed these children, to the games they were encouraged to play.  But to grasp that breastfeeding itself  may create more pacific beings is quite a sophisticated grasp of psychology.

On the other hand, humankind have been making war for almost as long as they've been breastfeeding.  We were virtually the only animal to make war, long before the advent of formula.
