Several 'netters have responded that bf is not the
HCP's decision. However, I would be alarmed at the
topic being raised by a group of HCP's who seek to
make a policy. Such a policy could make it likely that a
mother on the "blacklist" could be accused of child
abuse if one of the high holy docs discovered she was
bf. Who would be more likely to impress the court: a
woman with a past history for drug use (seen by many
as proof of moral defect) or a physician (who everyone
knows is standing on moral and intellectual high
ground)?

I recall at least one research paper that showed bf
showed a positive correlation for decrease in
drug/alcohol use. (I don't have the cites...surely
someone here on the list does?)
