I have also been getting more downloads than usual, but I haven't had a
problem with it.  AOL file management isn't the best.  I can always find
those digests by using WIndows Explorer (or, in a past life, File Manager)
rather than the AOL route.  They open with Notepad or some such Windows
accessory.  Try looking around your system for those digests, they are
probably there stashed away in a funny place.
