Our hero, James McKenna, was interviewed by Katie Couric on the Today Show
(NBC) this morning. He did a GREAT job of explaining the benefits of
co-sleeping from the mother's and infant's point of view. He was
articulate and charming, and promoted breastfeeding! They had another
expert--a therapist, I think--sitting beside McKenna, and she rambled on
about the couple's need for dates, dinners, quiet time, intimacy, time to
problem-solve, etc. WITHOUT their children. "Get a sitter" was her theme.
James quietly, graciously, but powerfully blew her away. Yay!
