dear jane,

many thanks to you for saying something that needs to kept in mind (your
recent post about babies with slow weight gain problems). please everyone
remember that human milk need not only come from the mother, and that human
milk can be shipped or delivered easily (or even with difficulty, it can be
done). as an advocate for our local milk bank, i urge everyone to not
hesitate to feed a baby, and do not hesitate to call any milk bank for
assistance. there is something worse than a mother not breastfeeding, or
supplementing with formula, and our concerns should always to be '"eed our
children well."
