Chanita asked:
>girls always asked "Don't you think you're wasting your education?"
Just out of curiousity, how do you answer this question?
Chanita,
I tell them that I can think of no better use of my time and education than
to raise the next generation. It is the most essential element of making the world a
better place. Moreover, I have learned more from this experience than I ever did in
a classroom, and this knowledge has carried over and been translated into job
skills. I would highly recommend the book *Sequencing* by Arlene Rossen Cardozo,
which talks about how to have it all - motherhood and a career - but not all at
once. I will never regret having taken time out to raise my children - it has been
the most rewarding and fulfilling thing I have ever done. I wouldn't have missed it
for the world.
