Hi Lactnetters, 
Regarding the posts from K. Dettwyler and Paula Long stating the belief
among many people that extended nursing causes psychological damage truely
amazes me.  Does that mean that 2/3 of the people in the world are
psychologically damaged?? (referring to the third world countries).  And
anthropologically, did we have generations of our ancestors who were
"psychologically damaged".  This is so far beyond logic that I can't even
imagine that anyone with a third grade education could put forward this
stuff.  Maybe, they could blame all the worlds problems on this premise
though.  What do you think??
