If she got relief from the gentian violet, this tends to support the
fact that Candida is the cause of her problems. If it keeps returning,
it is important to think "why is it returning?". Pacifier or Bottle
Nipples? Mother treated but baby not?

I am not impressed with nystatin.

I would go to gentian violet again, to get rid of the acute symptoms,
but she would probably do well with fluconazole ($$$$) or ketoconazole
orally, not creams. The baby might need one of them too.
