Hi!  I have a mother of a two-day-old who wants to take a daily dose of
Metamucil(?) for constipation.  I don't see why this would be a problem
since I understand that it is just a super dose of a natural fiber, but
I thought I'd ask the experts!  What do you think?  We've already
discussed many better ways to handle constipation, especially checking
to see if her iron supplements are really necessary, but mother really
wants to continue the Metamucil.  Thanks!
