Hello, I'm new to Lactnet and finding it to be a wonderful resource.
Thanks to the author of the posting of the lovely Hercules myth, which
ascribes the creation of the Milky Way Galaxy to Hera, whose milk
streamed across the heavens while she nursed her son Hercules. I'd like
to add a bit of etymology that I found delightful: our modern word
"galaxy" comes from the Greek gala, meaning "mother's milk."
