One possibility for this baby who won't take the bottle is to try cup
feeding or feeding with a spoon. My husband's humorous try to get our
baby to eat was to put her in the swing and use a playtex nurser. When
she swung forward he would spray the milk into her wide-open, screaming
mouth. This would take her by surprise and she would stop crying to
swallow the milk. Finally, he called me at 3 a.m. to see if I could
come home and nurse her. I was able to drive the 5 min. ride home and
nurse. I do think cup, spoon, or finger-feeding may be a better
alternative. ILCA has a wonderful tape from their convention last year
on cup feeding. Let me know if you need more info on cup feeding.
