I just saw a baby that had a clef soft palate, and the mother had not
been able to get the baby to latch on ever. She was pumping and giving
the baby the breast milk per nipple. Because of the expense I had hoped
I would be able to help her get the baby on the breast with the help of
a nipple shield, since the baby never had taken the breast. I was not
very sucessful. The baby sucked a few times, if I put a little breast
milk on the shield. If any one has a suggestion I would appreciate some
advice.
 Thanks
