Cultural differences are always interesting on these lists.
I wonder what childbirth educators would predict will be a 'mother's best
friend' outside North America, where this new TV show cites a breast pump
filling the role.
Certainly, I can't imagine hearing it in Australia, where pump rental
stations are unheard of..(I'm not being critical, just stating that we
don't have such things)..
but now I'm wondering what would it be and suspect that it might just be a
person ! her own mother, another mother, her NMAA breastfeeding
counsellor.. or maybe sleep, the telephone, a glass of wine..
