I have now been involved in two frustrating cases of mother who have had
recurrent mastitis (3-4 times in 2 months of nursing) alternating with yeast
infections. Despite correct positioning, frequent nursing and agressive
treatment of the yeast after a few days of improvement of the yeast they
then have had a florid mastitis (high fever and all). I would be interested
in others who have had this experience and their ideas in dealing with this.
