>Dear Lactnetters - Does anybody have experience in using rescue rememdy

>TIA, Toby (Haifa)
I use Rescue Remedy for babies and I dilute it 4 drops in 1 tsp of
breastmilk or sterile water, given with a spoon. As Chris said, there is no
harm in giving it frequently.
I use it sometimes when a baby has been crying "for hours" with gas pains.
The RR calms her and breaks that cycle of crying, then we can set about
finding the cause of her pain. I have also used it with some cases of breast
aversion, in which baby starts crying as soon as mom gets her in the nursing
position. The RR seems to calm her fears, memory, (or whatever) of
unpleasant experience.
I also use it for mom in these cases because her anxiety level is certainly
high.
