I think what the person was referring to from the ILCA conferrence
regarding using a nipple  to create an artificial palate was one of the
poster presentations.  Presented by Evi Adams, IBCLC.  Pster title
Feeding Cleft Palate Infants Breastmilk Description: How a surgeon in the
Congo solves the problem of giving breast milk to newborn infants with
cleft palated - creating an artificial palate from a baby bottle nipple.
Perhaps you could find this person in the membership directory, or maybe
she's lurking and can tell us more.
