Sertraline (Zoloft) and paroxetine (Paxil) are compatible with
breastfeeding. An article in the New England Journal, April 17, 1997 is
very reassuring about sertraline.
An article in the Am J Psychiatry 1996;153:1132-7 (Wisner et al), states
in the conclusions: "amitryptyline, nortriptyline, desipramine
clomipramine, dotheipn and sertraline were not found in quantifiable
amounts in nurslings". They didn't test paroxetine.
