For Drs. Hale & Newman--We have a Lactation Specialist who is taking 125 mg
aldomet (methyldopa) 3x/day; yesterday the doctor added ramipril at 2.5mg
1x/day. LS's baby is 2 1/2 months old, totally breastfed, weighs 13 1/2
pounds. The nephrologist would not prescribe ramipril because the mother is
breastfeeding. Family doctor said he'd prescribe it, but the LS isn't sure
she trusts his judgement. She just wants to be sure and would like your
recommendations. You may email her privately at [log in to unmask] or I can
forward the information to her if you post here. Thank you. Keitha :)
