Susan:

 you are on the right tract... maybe you can find a way to educate the
physician...it need not be and either or situation... while certianly we
\would like all mother to bf and all babies to have breastmilk exclusively...
this is not always reality... when we do not set hard lines for mother's to
follow it is easier for them to find their own place.. and given the chance
to explore options they do sometimes follow what we hoped for all along.

  no one likes to be TOLD what to do...
