I agree with Pamela Morrison.  Breastmilk diluters are rarely needed.  I
also worked in Africa, and we did not use ABM even until the milk was
abundant.  We gave the baby whatever colostrum we could, plus sugar
water if he was unhappy, and then only breastmilk.  They grew just fine.
