The pediatrician was not really thinking of the baby when he suggested
weaning, did s/he?

Nevertheless, I don't think finger feeding will cause less trauma than
anything else put into the baby's mouth.  I am not sure why they haven't
done the g-tube already.

The mother needs to pump and feed her baby with her milk.  She may be
helped by fenugreek and blessed thistle tincture.

This is obviously a terrible disease.
