Sorry if this is too late (catching up ..)  I once persuaded one of the
doctors to prescribe buccal pitocin for a very engorged mom to assist with
letdown. Mom placed a tablet under her tongue, waited for the letdown and
then spat it out - repeated until breasts were softer.  She felt it helped.
