I have heard of the product, New Skin, but not the use on nipples. New
Skin is an OTC product called an "antiseptic liquid bandage" marketed, I
think, for use on things like unopened blisters (e.g. on your feet or
hands). When you put it (liquid/gel-like stuff) on your skin, it dries
into a sort of film (perhaps like covering your skin with a bit of flexible
stick-on plastic). We don't use it anymore, but we carried it when we went
backpacking for our heels in our boots. I pulled out an old tube, here's
what the label says: Warnings - flammable, keep this and all drugs out of
reach of children, in case of accidental ingestion seek professional
assistance or contact poison control center immediately. Directions - see
back of carton [long since discarded, sorry]. Active Ingredients: Alcohol
8.7%, Pyroxylin Solution, Oil of Cloves, 8-Hydroxy-Quinoline. Distributed
