Thanks to everyone for their colostrum answers.

I did talk to the LLL Leader who was working with the mom and said should
would have to help the mom stand up for herself with the nurses since they
did throw out the colostrum.  I told the Leader the best weapon the mom would
have would be stacks of info on why the breastmilk was best for a premature
infant.

I haven't heard back on this situation, but I hope the mom had no more
problems with the nurses.
