For all my friends and colleges on lactnet I want to thank you for your
concern, prayers and support through all of the hospital admissions since
Jan. and the subsequent surgery 4 weeks ago. This is my first venture
back on lactnet and I must say that I have truely missed it. I was
fortunate enough to be a patient at NIH and kindly Frank Nice saw that I
was supplied with copies of lactnet. Recovery is slow and there have
been a few set backs but I am beginning to see improvememt. My
LLL co-leader gave birth a week after I had the pitutary tumor removed
and we have been comparing our post (partum-surgery) progess. It's
amazing, in a humorous way to see similarities.
Pat Bull, if you happen to see this would you mind emailing me privately,
I have a few questions concerning recovery post brain surgery. Other
wise, I will track down your address. I'm not at the computer daily as
of yet but plan on doing so and beginning a regime of mild exercise of
the body daily to get back in "the saddle".
        Take care. Ann C.
