I find taping the SNS tubing *under* the tape--a tunnel effect, with the
tape going longways--(NOT the way the SNS booklet shows) makes the tubing
more a part of the breast and thus more acceptable.  The tubing is
totally covered by the tape until the base of the nipple, where the tape
stops.  Some munchkins have latched on to *just* the tubing when the tape
was cross-ways as per instruction booklet!

The center of the tube should be in the center of the baby's mouth for
optimum milk transfer, which means straight down the breast to the 12
o'clock position on the nipple for the cuddle (aka football) hold and in
the center of the *outer* edge of the nipple for the cradle and side
lying positions.
