Hi All,

can mom with Lyme disease BF (yea after 24 hrs treatment)

Wait a minute here. Correct me if I am wrong, but why would a mom with Lyme
disease need to wait until 24 hrs after treatment to BF? Is not treatment
of Lyme disease antibiotics? Also, it is common for a person to have had
Lyme disease for a period of time before getting treatment, so if a BF
mother has it, then the baby has already been exposed (if it is contagious
or is transferrable thru breastmilk, which I doubt) so why would BF need to
be discontinued?
Just a question...
