Catching up on Lactnets and the posts about how to teach bottle-feeding in
ante-natal classes, to satisfy the hospital admin. Some of the ways
described on how *not* to teach bottle-feeding, while keeping everyone
happy, are very inventive. However, if any of these hospitals are thinking
of working towards BFHI, one of the criteria is that bottle-feeding may not
be taught to *groups* of pregnant mothers (because this promotes
bottle-feeding). If mothers choose to bottle-feed then they are to be
taught *individually* how to make up bottles. Imagine how time-consuming
this is! Fabulous, isn't it?
