This is a first!  Here's a new virus warning that's NOT a hoax.  The
new virus, called "Baboon" is a boot-sector infector spread by
floppy disks only.  It can NOT be spread over the Internet.

The warning came from Richard Jacobs, the president of Sophos,
an antivirus software supplier.  More information is available at their

If you like to get files of uncertain origin on floppy disks, this may
be a worry for you.  Otherwise, it's another yawn.
