Anything is possible, though I have never heard of this.  Don't forget
the possibility of contamination of the specimen from the skin.  It is
very difficult indeed to get a specimen of milk uncontaminated by skin
flora.  Also don't forget that Group B strep is *not* Group A Beta
haemolytic strep, which many people confuse with Group B strep.

Passing on infection to the baby in this way has never been documented,
as far as I know.  Breastmilk would kill the litter blighters fairly
promptly.
