I AM LOOKING FOR INFORMATION, RE THE LENGTH OF TIME AN INFANT SHOULD
BE KEPT NPO PRIOR TO SURGERY. WE ARE HAVING QUITE THE DISCUSSION HERE
CONCERNING THE NEED TO KEEP BREASTFEEDING INFANTS NPO OVERNIGHT FOR
     SURGERY.

IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFO, IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THE MORE
SCIENTIFIC THE STUDIES THE BETTER, IN THIS GIVEN SITUATION.

     THANKS,
     J. CORMIER
