I had a call from a mother who is BF a 4 month old baby and has had a child
visitor in the home who just discovered head lice. After reading the
information that comes with the med, she is hesitant to use it on herself
and still breastfeed - I gave her my information from Dr. Hale's 1996 book,
but she is still hesitant - does anyone know anything more about "Nix", or
better yet of another alternative to use. (The mother does not actually
have the symptoms yet herself, but would like to go through with the
tretment - and not effect her breastmilk in any way) Thanks for any
information you can share.
