Hi,
In my work as the Lactation Consultant with ParentsPlace.com I just received
a letter from the editor of Pediatric Basics magazine, a quarterly journal
distributed to 50,000 pediatric professionals nationally. In their upcoming
issue they have an article on breastfeeding adopted infants by Dr. Teresa
Kovarik, the Breastfeeding Coordinator for the Minnesota Chapter of the
American Academy of Pediatrics.
Their articles also have a short (2-manuscript pages) companion piece called
"Putting Research into Practice" written by an expert in the field. They
would like to be put in touch with an IBCLC very experienced in adoptive
nursing who could provide just such a commentary. She says that time is
tight, so if you are interested please e-mail be privately and I will forward
her e-mail address and phone number.
Warmly, Debbi Donovan, IBCLC
