Someone wrote about their letter to NBC:

I feel compelled to point out that it is the American Academy of Pediatrics
(not Association) and that they, in fact, do NOT recommend weaning at one
year of age.  Their recommendations in this arena have to do with NOT giving
cows' milk before one year of age.  They don't say anything about when a
child should be weaned, nor when it would "naturally" wean.
