Hi, my name is Teri Lind, RN CLC, IBCLC. I work in a hospital setting, and
have quielty enjoyed latnet. Now I have a problem and trid the archives,
but could find anything. Any help would help.

Took care of a mom, Asian, who's nipples were large, and do not have a
rounded tip, but more square and flat on top. Difficult latching, the
nipples seem not to be elastic enough for the baby to pull in and form to
the mouth. Mom is able to pump (which sometimes is painful, tried another
shield on breast), and tries latching on when she has the energy (at least
2-3 times a day, but this will decrease if we can't find help for her), but
baby gets fussy, and mom fustrated. Any tips out there?
