hi, i sent this to diane directly, but she thought i should think about
posting it as it might be new news to some of y'all. so here it is:
hi,
i have a normal 3 month old bf baby(w/ great weight gain- 60 to
75% on the formula fed generated weight charts). his stools have been
stinky on
a couple of ocassions- during/after antibiotic courses and after i've had
too much dairy- his stools are green, runny, and very sour smelling. his 3
yr old brother is very allergic to dairy and corn so i assume the youngest
will be also (i was raised on karo syrup and evap milk- makes me
wonder...).
when i avoid dairy, his stools are 'normal'- yellow, seedy, not
much smell. so there can be lots of reasons for stinky stools. i didn't
post this b/c these are my individual experiences w/ no research behind
it.
sincerely, deborah danzeiser, LLLL
