The drug rep from the company did a campaign in our area about not using
this drug for nursing mothers. There is no new info out there but,
according to one of our more enlightened anesthesiologists, the risk
management dept. of the co. that makes the drug decided it could be
dangerous to allow its use with brf. We don't use it at all any more
which is a shame as it was great for postop pain relief.
To use the PDR as a resource for a decision about any med and brf seems
very dumb to me! It can give good info about properties of a med but is
unhelpful with regard to brf.
