  Pre and post-children, I worked in a research lab with S.cerevisiae
(baker's yeast).  There were at least three of us nursing babies and in 5
yrs, I never heard of anyone having trouble with yeast infections or thrush.
 We were literally surrounded with these yeast, both normal strains and
genetically altered ones.
