Breastmilk contains enzymes to help digest milk.  A quick look at
Lawrence or Auerbach will confirm that.  Proteinases for protein,
lipases for fat and others, as well as those trophic factors.  So it
does not follow that the baby needs predigested milk.  But it would be
nice to try just breastfeeding for those two days, no?  That way the
baby's tolerance for breastmilk alone might be seen.  It is possible
that the enzymes in the milk *may* not be sufficient, but surely it
would not hurt to wait a little while to see.  Of course, I imagine the
predigested milk, if needed, will be given by nursing supplementer.
