I have a mom with terrible yeast. She and I have done absolutely
everything we know how to get rid of it, to no avail. I am sending her to
a dermatologist tomorrow to rule out anything else. Her baby is 2 weeks
old, nipples have cracked, scabbed and peeled. They are now shiny, and
look a little moist. She recently put vitamin E on them, but I am
concerned that this has caused GI upset in the baby. She has been on
acidophilus, gentian violet, nystatin, diflucan, comfrey and tea leaves for
healing and more. We have tried one thing at a time with not much
improvement no matter what. Does anyone have any other suggestions? She
is very committed but ready to give up. I don't know anything else to
suggest. How can we get her past the pain?
