Thanks Jack - point taken! And info about repeat doses of Naloxone being
required gratefully accepted.  I'm going to take this up again with the paed
who first told me about this, and see if I've missed something.  There must
be another reason then, why some of these babies do appear to latch well for
a couple of days and then "forget".  What do you think about the pethedine
hypothesis - that it has an effect on the baby's "suck" (latching ability)
and may take 4 - 10 days to wear off.  Is this in the category of
"folk-lore" too?
