The concern with TB is only if the mother is sputum positive. However,
the simple expedient of having her wear a mask while nursing should take
care of the risk of coughing tubercle bacilli on the baby. Remember the
simple public health measures!
The stuff about formula for a blood sugar of under 40 is ridiculous.
Don't provide references. Ask for references for treating with a drug
(ABM). Sugar water with a lactation aid does just as well, as does
sugar water with a cup or finger feeding, *if the baby does not latch
on*.
