A picture in the newspaper this weekend of a woman in Iraq holding
three tins of baby milk and supposedly waiting anxiously for the
first food-for-oil supplies to arrive because milk for her baby is
currently so expensive.

My thoughts went to Dr Naira Al-Awqati  IBCLC who is doing so much
for breastfeeding in her country.  If only this mother would ask her
about a cheaper source of milk!

Iraqi TV has interesting breastfeeding promotion advertisements.
They were shown at the WABA Global Forum in Bangkok last year.
