I have often wondered this. I see pregnant women at various drop ins I
go with my kids and also neighbours. I don't feel comfortable asking
their breastfeeding intentions (although I would really like to!) so
what I have done in the past is make sure breastfeeding info is posted
at the drop ins eg.LLL meetings,posters for drop in breastfeeding
clinics, etc. and with neighbours I put together a new mother packet
with a short introductory note and leave it on their doorknob or in
their mailbox. This way they have the info, if they are not interested
they are free to do as they wish.
