In my experience in 2 hospitals, these bottles, as provided by the abm
companies are NOT STERILE although they are individually packaged.  If you
are using them to store EBM you are not meeting the standards set by NAMBA
unless you are sterilizing them through your own processes.

Check the packaging, it was a shock to me.  Think of all those premature
infants who are fed by these bottles, regardless of what they hold (EBM/abm).

We really need cheap, sterile bottles and lids (individually packaged, in 60
- 90 ml sizes) even for feeding abm, in case any abm company reps are
reading here.  Think of the liability of those unsterile bottles used for
feeding already immunologically disadvantaged abm fed premature babies.
