Thought in the midst of negative breastfeeding publicity, you all might find
this heopful...

Beginning tomorrow evening, April 18, 1997, New Jersey Network (a PBSstation)
News will begin "promos" on its evening news programs for their upcoming
series on Breastfeeding - including - our legislation, bf in public, within
culture, isues facing breastfeeding mothers, etc.

If you live in the New York Metro area, you can catch it on Channel 13 (WNET)
at 6 PM.  If you have cable and are out of the area, some of the other
stations are WNET, WNJB, WNJN.  The other stations will also air the news at
7:30 PM and 11 PM.  Promos are also set to feature a "plug" about the
Saturday LLL-NJ Area Conference.

The series is set to air as follows: one segment Tuesday 4/29, one segment
Wednesday 4/30 and twosegments Thursday 5/1.  the first three segments are
being done by Anisa Mehdi (apologies for spelling errors) an LLL member, and
the fourth segment is being done by Sarah Lee Kessler.

Anisa has been working hard on this for a couple of months now and I'm
positive it will be a wonderful and positive piece.  Try and catch it if you
can.
