Thanks everyone who posted about strep B... I was not aware of the high
incidence cited by Khalid... Now, as Chris suggested we need to get candida
prevention protocols in place as well (both for those treated and for the
rest of the population that is at higher and higher risk these days)....

I'm adding this to my question list for new mothers -- too often when I ask
if they received any medications during labor they tell me know, just pain
relief... it pays to be specific!
