Hello I'm new to LACTNET and already addicted. Wanted to share
my experience with my 4 children( now aged 23, 21, 18, and 15)
and dental carries. They were all nursed LLL style. Three of
them have good strong teeth and few dental carries and one
does not have good teeth and began having carries at the
age of two. My dentist said that this son inherited his fathers
soft teeth and my acid system. The others all have a different
combination of factors, although two have inherited my crowded
mouth. Incidentally  I had 4 sick pregnancies (9 months of
vomiting 3 or 4 times each day). I must have been a glutton for
punishment but they are all worth it. Anecdotal I know but in
my experience heredity played a part.
