The bleeding patient sounds like she is at the borderline as to whether she
needs to be seen or not.  She should do well as long as she doesn't have an
infection or retained placenta causing her bleeding.  As an outpatient,
Methergine is usually given as  0.2 mg every 8 hours for 2 days or so.  It
shouldn't have any effect on her milk supply.  The side effects you mentioned
are all very possible, but not very frequent in the oral dose prescribed
