From : the Breastfeeding Task Force of Greater Los Angeles
"AB 157, the bill that protects a woman's right to breastfeed in public has
been reintroduced by Assemblymember Antonio Villaraigosa. Villaraigosa's
office would like to hear from individuals and organizations who are
proponants of the bill.
Your Letters are urgently needed! Let Assemblymember Villaraigosa know that
the issue of breastfeeding in public is still a concern in California, and
that you and your organization support this bill. The letters need to be sent
within the next 2-3 weeks.
Also, begin to gather stories about women who have been harassed or asked to
leave public establishments for breastfeeding. This information will be
needed shortly as the bill progresses through the system. We well keep you
updated as we hear more.
